In 2022, Living Beyond Breast Cancer (LBBC) and Evaluation Plus (E+) partnered to build evaluation capacity across all levels of staff rather than through one centralized evaluation role.
On March 31, the world observes Transgender Day of Visibility (TDOV). The idea behind it is to raise awareness by celebrating the contributions of trans people. We must also look closely at the ways in which poverty, discrimination, and violence impact this community and what each of us can do to change that.
It’s hard to believe we started Evaluation Plus 5 years ago. In that time, we’ve been able to learn, grow, and help make change possible, to improve the lives of young people, people impacted by cancer, elder LGBTQ persons and others.
Wouldn’t it be something if basic science could do for cancer disparities what it has accomplished for medicine?!
